San Francisco Seals Long Sleeve Sweater/Tee
San Francisco Seals Long Sleeve Sweater/Tee by Red Jacket
60% Cotton, 40% Poly
Super Soft Fabric, Embroidered Logo
This is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. It's light like a tee but with the custom embroidery it's more like a nice sweater. Probably the softest fabric we've ever sold. Because of the embroidery you'll want to take special care when washing.
For old school San Franciscans, the Seals are as historic as the Giants. With Joe DiMaggio, Dominic DiMaggio, and Lefty O'Doul as marquee players, the Seals left their mark on San Francisco Baseball. The Seals played in San Francisco from 1903 to 1957 when they gave up their stadium to the newcomers in town, the Giants.
The Seals were part of the Pacific Coast League, PCL. The league started in 1903 and still exists today as a Triple-A league. The league is famous for players such as Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, and Barry Bonds who all got their starts in the PCL.
