If you're not familiar with the background of Pickleball here is the story. Pickleball was started by a US Congressman, Bill Prechert in his backyard on BainBridge Island Washington in 1965. They were playing around and used Ping Pong paddles to hit a ball and the game was born. In 2005 it became more of an official sport by creating the USA Pickleball Association.
